About the role:
Doctrin is looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about transforming healthcare and creating real, sustainable value for both our existing and future customers. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, aligned with our company strategy and commercial goals, and converting those opportunities into long-lasting customer relationships.
You will work independently to identify and create new business leads, guiding them through the sales pipeline and ensuring that Doctrin’s solutions meet their specific needs. This includes outreach activities, sales meetings, product demos, needs analysis, lead qualification, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
You will work closely with the Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Management teams at Doctrin to drive our commercial success and meet organizational goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities aligned with Doctrin’s products and services.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customer accounts and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor positioning, and market developments.
- Tailor Doctrin’s offerings to meet the specific needs of new business leads.
- Conduct needs analysis and pitch Doctrin’s platform to secure new business.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated by marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape product development and sales strategies.
- Use CRM software (Upsales) to track and document sales processes.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and negotiate terms with new clients.
- Provide input to marketing, sales, and product teams on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
What we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong passion for healthcare transformation and a proven track record in sales, business development, and change management. You should be a skilled relationship builder, able to communicate complex ideas effectively and work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting change within healthcare.
- Familiarity with digital health platforms and their implementation.
- Ability to develop relationships with key customers in both primary and secondary care.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in delivering change management within organizations.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
- A self-starter who is flexible and can adjust priorities quickly.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- A background in engineering, economics, business, or healthcare (MD or RN).
- Proficiency in Swedish (native) and English (full professional proficiency).
Preferred (but not required):
- Recent experience driving clinical change.
- Experience in data analysis, analytics, and/or dashboards.
- Experience in delivering training, workshops, and presentations.
