Devops .NET in Openshift and improving healthcare!

Devops .NET in Openshift and improving healthcare!

Who we are:

Doctrin´s purpose is to radically improve healthcare. The way we’re doing this is by helping health care providers to intelligently digitalize the patient journey. We help provide better medical quality, improve patients’ access to care and reduce resource requirements. Two things make us stand out - our world-leading medical history system and the fact that our system can support the entire patient journey. We are paving the way for a fundamental change in the way healthcare is provided.

We need your help to succeed on our journey!

Who you'll be working with:

Our devops team is responsible for setting the process for deployment and releases, as well as testing performance, test automation and site reliability.

They collaborate with other teams such as Development, QA, Medical, AI, Product Management and UX. The devops team strive to learn from their mistakes, provide an infrastructure for the development processes at the company and minimise the manual work.

How you'll help us radically improve healthcare:

Doctrin is in an expansion phase and as a part of our devops team you can influence and create the foundation for our future processes in development. You will ensure that we get a solution that fits as many of your colleagues as possible.

You will be responsible for the infrastructure of our products. You will have the opportunity to contribute to decision making and how to improve our release processes, monitoring performance, managing releases along with the existing infrastructure. Your work will affect most of the people in the company.

You will be working with technologies and frameworks such as .NET, Kubernetes and Jenkins.

Other tasks include assisting in migrating .NET core services from Windows to Docker and Kubernetes.

Who you are:

Firstly, you are a person who wants to radically improve healthcare, just as the rest of us at Doctrin! Secondly you want to support your colleagues to deliver good code as efficiently as possible!

We value talent, knowledge and eagerness to learn over a formal education.

In summary we think you have experience from:

  • Kubernetes
  • .Net
  • Linux

It's a plus if you also have experiences from:

  • Jenkins
  • Openshift
  • CI/CD

and want to learn or already are familiar with:

  • MongoDB
  • NodeJs

As a person you take responsibility for what you do by being structured and self-driven. You are diplomatic and can appreciate being a connection between different teams and contribute your knowledge and expertise to decision making on different levels. You are solution oriented and work well with complex issues, you like learning new things, enjoy working with others and are good at communication.

Our core values - Passion for making a difference, Aim high, Work smart, Be authentic, Grow as a team and Enjoy the journey, rule the way we do things. It's important that you believe that your personal values correspond with ours.  Read more about our core values on our career site to see if we are a match.

Why you should apply:

Doctrin is a young, expansive company where we all work towards a common goal - to radically improve healthcare. This vision truly reflects on our culture.

You will work with a great mix of people with different educational and professional backgrounds: software developers, medical doctors, researchers, ex management consultants and other brilliant people.

We are located in a newly renovated office space in central Stockholm and enjoy doing things together; everything from playing ping pong during lunch to arranging after-works or taking off to an offsite with the team, to get to know each other even better.

We offer a competitive salary and pension as well as a stock option program. Since we are convinced that healthy employees are a key to success, we also offer a generous health grant.

Our Culture

In February 2017 we gathered the company in the snowy hills of Tällberg for a 3-day conference. The goal was to discuss what kind of culture and company we wanted to be, as well as to stronger bond as a team. This is a continuous and ever evolving journey but our starting point is our values, which are:

PASSION FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE, AIM HIGH, WORK SMART, BE AUTHENTIC, GROW AS A TEAM, ENJOY THE JOURNEY.
