Business development manager to launch Doctrin in the UK

Doctrin´s purpose is to radically improve healthcare globally by helping health care providers to intelligently digitalise the patient journey. We help provide better medical quality, improve patients’ access to care and reduce resource requirements. Two things make us stand out; our world leading medical history system, and the fact that our system can support the entire patient journey. Who you'll be working with:

You will be working within our Customer Success team and report to our brilliant Head of International, Henrik Schwerdt.

How you'll help us radically improve healthcare:

To improve healthcare for 1 billion people, we need to grow. We are based in Sweden, but our mission naturally takes us beyond the borders of the country. We are now also moving into the UK market, and you will be the one to help us succeed with that.

The role you'll be taking on is a broad one. You will be overall responsible for the successful entry of Doctrin into the UK.  So what exactly will you be doing?

Among other things, you will:

  • Develop, shape and execute the market entry strategy for Doctrin into the UK 
  • Identify and prioritize customer segments
  • Build relationships with key influencers and decision makers
  • Develop and execute a marketing & communications strategy
  • Contact potential customers and present our solution 
  • Gather und understand market and customer requirements and provide input to the Doctrin product development process
  • Negotiate customer agreements 
  • Work with other functions/teams to implement our solutions with customers
  • Develop long-term growth plan for the UK
  • Recruit additional team members and build up the Doctrin UK team

This role includes a lot of travelling within the UK and occasionally to our main office in Stockholm.

Who you are:

In addition, we think you need the following:

  • A deep understanding of the NHS and the primary care sector in the UK
  • Experience in operational business development / business building
  • Experience in project sales to private and public sector entities
  • A strategic mindset
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Some experience of entrepreneurship
  • High proficiency in the English language

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Background in management consulting
  • Medical background
  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience in general management
