Imagine that the code you wrote could directly improve healthcare for 1 billion people? Join us!

We are  looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our teams of highly-skilled engineers. Doctrin is in a transition phase going from small start-up to scale up where you can make a real difference and really impact our future. Our company  is agile and the process from idea to implementation is short. We work in cross-functional  teams with a mix of Developers, Medical Doctors, QA, Data Engineers, UX, Product Managers and Customer Support. Together we help health care providers to intelligently digitalize the patient journey.

We are looking for someone, who not only possesses the right technical skills, but also feels as passionate as us, about making a real difference in the healthcare landscape. You will add to our team and contribute with your previous experience as we now embark on the next phase (scaling-up) of our journey - providing revolutionary digi-physical service through SaaS.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Improve and help maintain setup of CI/CD pipeline and evaluate/choose relevant tools
  • Build, develop and ensure the reliability of the infrastructure Doctrin runs on (AWS, Openshift on premise, K8s)
  • Provide developer tools, guidance and assistance (CI/CD, build, IaC, monitoring, test tools)
  • Work closely with other dev teams on Doctrin to understand common needs

Who we think you are

As a person you are not afraid to take initiatives to set processes and ways of working. Solving problems motivates you and you are energized in working in close collaboration with your fellow engineers as well as cross-functional with other teams. We value skill, knowledge and potential over a formal education and the right person for the role is a real entrepreneur with a lot of drive and passion!

To thrive in the role, we also believe you have the following skills & experience:

  • Software development background, with some of them within DevOps
  • Experience within cloud technologies (either of AWS/GCP/Azure), AWS is preferred
  • Experience deploying in Kubernetes
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines e.g. Jenkins or Github actions
  •  Configuration Management tools -for example Ansible, is a bonus

What we offer

Doctrin is a highly value driven company and our values (read more on or values here) are with us in everything we do and how we want our company to be. We are open, transparent and inclusive and care for each other. With a high degree of trust, we feel safe to challenge ourselves and each other, make mistakes and learn. Other than aiming high and working with passion for our customers, a substantial part of our culture is to have fun together and grow as a team!

This can be: enjoying a table tennis game during lunch, monday breakfast, friday after work or going off-site to build stronger collaboration and relationships with each other. We are located in a newly renovated office space in central Stockholm and whether pandemic or not, we offer a flexible working environment with working remotely being a natural part of our culture and we have the working tools to facilitate this.
